The Canadian Women’s Foundation is a national leader in advancing gender equality through intersectional feminism and community-driven solutions. Since 1991, it has raised over $260 million to fund 3,300+ programs that support women, girls, and gender-diverse people across Canada—especially those facing barriers due to race, gender identity, ability, or socioeconomic status.

The Foundation focuses on four key areas: reducing poverty, ending gender-based violence, building confidence, and developing leadership. It partners with grassroots organizations to create long-term change and is committed to truth, reconciliation, and decolonization, with a strong presence both nationally and internationally through its UN consultative status.
